Full-Scale Cleaning Services

When it comes to selecting a housekeeping service, Black Bear Housekeeping is your best bet! From initial deep cleaning to one-time cleaning, trust our proficient team to handle them all.

Our quality control staff members follow up and ensure you're satisfied with our work. We use Better Life products. As seen on the TV show, Shark Tank, no toxic chemicals are used in these products. All of our cleaning products are safe for pets, kids and the elderly.

A Wide Selection of Cleaning Services

  • Initial deep cleaning – this includes sanitizing and wiping every surface in your house. Starting at the top, with fans and fixtures, and working down to light switch plates, door jams and ledges, window sills and ledges, baseboards, and floors. All picture frames, and knick-knacks get a cleaning! Once a deep clean is done, we can help you maintain your home more easily. 
  • Standard recurring weekly or bi-weekly cleaning (contact us for standard quote based on square footage – small: less than 1500 sq. ft., medium: 1500-2500 sq. ft., large: more than 2500 sq. ft.)
  • One-time cleaning (requires inspection to quote)
  • Move-in or move-out cleaning (Requires inspection to quote)
  • Post-construction cleaning (Requires inspection to quote)
  • Light commercial (Requires inspection to quote)

Our Standard Cleaning Services

  • Clean outside of large appliances
  • Clean counter tops and fronts of cabinets
  • Clean inside and outside of microwave

Living areas and bedrooms:
  • Dust windowsills, and baseboards
  • Dust shelves, mirrors, and frames
  • Dust furniture and remove spider webs
  • Vacuum floors
  • Mop hard floors
  • Tidy overall appearance of room
  • Dust shelves and frames
  • Clean mirrors
  • Clean sink, counter, cabinets on outside
  • Deep clean interior and exterior of toilets and floor surrounding toilet
  • Vacuum and mop floors
  • Scrub tubs or showers
Optional cleaning tasks (any of these tasks may be added by request):
  • Vacuum furniture
  • Dust blinds
  • Wash linens (sheets and/or towels)
  • Make beds, requesting no linen change
  • Change bed linens and make beds
  • Change towel linens
  • Dust ceiling fan (if reachable with extender)
  • Remove fingerprints from walls or light switches
  • Vacuum or wipe insides of reachable light fixtures
  • Remove trash or recycling and replace the bags
  • Clean trash bins inside and outside
  • Clean refrigerator and freezer inside and outside
  • Clean inside all kitchen cabinets and drawers
  • Clean inside bathroom cabinets and drawers
  • Clean inside oven

Our Specialized Services

We don't provide the following services:
  • Grout steam cleaning
  • Carpet cleaning
  • Rug cleaning
  • Upholstery cleaning
  • Gutter cleaning
  • Roof cleaning

These Following Are NOT Our Job: 

  • Mold – Mold is a safety issue and affects the air quality for our housekeepers. We will not clean rooms heavy with mold. If you have a mold infestation, consider a mold remediation service
  • Pet Messes or human fluids – this kind of cleaning requires special training and certification. Our housekeepers are not required to handle litter boxes, pet messes, urine, blood, overflowed toilets, etc.
  • Clutter – we work around high-clutter areas the best we can
  • Outdoor Areas – we don't clean outside your home. 
  • Weight – if you want us to clean under heavy furniture, please move the item(s) before we arrive, and we will vacuum that area. We can move small items when cleaning is needed
  • Height – a two-foot step stool, that you provide, is our limit. We want to stay safe. We do have a cobweb tool extender to get to high ceilings.
  • Heavy Hanging Items – large mirrors and artwork create a high risk of injury to our housekeepers
  • Fine artwork – you will need a different kind of professional to clean artwork. Please let our office know if you have ANY delicate items that you don't want to be touched
  • Bugs – if you have recently fumigated, do not schedule with us until after 48 hours
  • Fireplaces – our vacuum cleaners cannot handle soot or ash from fireplaces. If you contact our office to request this service and leave a broom or dustpan by the fireplace, we will sweep it
  • Chandeliers – we don't clean special lamps like chandeliers, which are easily breakable

Our Service Agreement

Office hours:
Monday through Thursday, from 9:00 a.m. to 5:00 p.m. Friday from 9:00 a.m. to 3:00 p.m. Closed on Saturday and Sunday. If we are busy, please leave a message. We return calls promptly. If you reach us after hours, we will gladly return your call the following morning.

Our office is closed on all major holidays. Some of our housekeepers continue to work on holidays, excluding Thanksgiving and Christmas Day. If your cleaning day falls on one of those two days, please call our office to reschedule one week in advance. Otherwise, we will assume you plan to skip that cleaning.

Customer feedback:
Please keep us informed of your suggestions or comments. If you are specific, we can better accommodate your housecleaning needs. Please let management know of your concerns within 24 hours of the service by calling Josh at 828-788-1510.

Agreements with the Customer:

Cleaning Times: 
We pride ourselves on promptness, but weather and traffic may affect our schedule. Your housecleaning will be completed between the hours of 8 a.m. and 5:00 p.m. 

Payment Policy:
Payment options are discussed at the time of scheduling and include PayPal, MC, Visa, and personal checks.

Late Cancellation or No Show Fees: 
If you cancel the day of service, or we cannot gain access, you will be invoiced for 50% of the cleaning fee.

Breakage or Loss:
Please put away delicate items.
